Faculty development programs among state universities and colleges in the province of Iloilo: Basis for a faculty development model

The current investigation aimed to assess the level of participation and recognition received by faculty members from State Universities Colleges (SUCs) in Province Iloilo as part their development programs. obtained results will be utilized develop an improved five-year plan. This study employed a quantitative research design, utilizing descriptive method determine degree engagement with various components program, which would serve basis for model. A total 848 respondents were randomly selected through simple random sampling completed survey questionnaire. Frequency count, percentage, mean, standard deviation provide analysis data. Furthermore, Chi-Square, Mann Whitney U Test, Kruskal Wallis Test examine significant differences extent program utilization. findings indicate that majority SUCs expressed "very satisfied" levels satisfaction regarding scholarships, seminars, training, conferences, symposia. They also reported being "satisfied" involvement other programs, exception fellowships. Moreover, revealed there was no relationship between demographic profiles, except plantilla position. Post hoc indicated among holding positions instructors associate professors, well assistant professors professors.
